Admittedly I’m a bit of a planner snob. I’ve tried many many over the years and this one is by far my favorite. It’s beautiful, affordable, and truly well thought out in terms of scheduling day-to-day life.
It was also on the Emily Ley blog that I got the idea for a top 10 list. She is every bit as wonderul as the products she creates and I can’t wait to start sharing these with you!
Have you ever watched a small child eat? Sometimes it’s just downright painful. Like the planner, I have tried SO MANY silverware sets for kids and once again we’ve found our favorites. They are easy to hold and an appropriate size for our kids whose ages range from 1-7. I think they would work for older kids as well, but that’s just where we are at in life. They are dishwasher safe and made from recycled milk jugs. Not to mention super fun, but not in your face, color options!
When I am in need of a good dose of encouragement this is my favorite podcast. She speaks truth, boldly and graciously. Her niche is totes women and mom’s, but I’m sure anyone can glean something here!
We went on a date last Saturday and ended up at TjMaxx. These are the simple joys I live for. We bought this cutting board and I am IN LOVE with it! I’ve used it for almost every meal and it’s easy to wash. This one is only for fruits and veggies but plan to go back and buy one for my meats. I’ve included a link so you can see the brand and kind that I got but TjMaxx has it for half the price. So if you need a good excuse to do some shopping, then here it is.
Ever gone furniture shopping with 3 kids? Yep. Tried that. And now we use wayfair. It’s like amazon, but for home goods and furniture.
Sometimes I just don’t need the big tumblers and when we found these at walmart for $7 I wanted to at least try them. We’ve used them for months now and they have held up every bit as much as our Yeti’s! My morning starts with coffee and then when I finally finish that at noon (#ineversitdown) I rinse and switch to water for the rest of the day. Bonus! They have super fun colors. I got white (it;s my favorite color…or lacktherof? ) and we got Tyler a gray one.
My favorite brand from TjMaxx is the DW brand. That is the one I linked. There are plenty of scents to choose from whether you look in store or online. For me, candles are a small treat when I want to relax during quiet time, my morning routine, cleaning, or working. I’ve also used the Volcano Candles from Anthropologie and I’m pretty sure you can never go wrong there. And good news! They are on sale right now for under $10!
I’m not linking this one because you can literally find epsom salts anywhere. Drug store, grocery store, target, walmart to name a few. We are 5 for 5 with a cold and epsom salt baths not only feel great but they help knock the germs faster!
For me creative business owners, this is a life saver! You can schedule out your social media posts in order to serve your people better AND save yourself time. And don’t we all want more time? This allowed me to be snuggled up in the bed with my babies and not have to worry about picking up my phone to post to social media.
I accidentally ordered 2 on amazon and am so glad I did! It dims, has a usb port to charge my phone, has a not super annoying alarm and doesn’t take up a lot of space on my side table. For $20 this is an easy purchase that makes my morning routine all the better.
