Little wild one remind me
how to run again barefoot
through the pathless woods.
Show me where the fairies
hide messages in curled
up maple leaves.
Show me treasures,
rocks, and feathers,
frogs that beckon us
forward, forward through the
curling grapevine.
Lead me under a moon
that is as full as
our pockets
past hickory & mushroom rings
down, down to the river…

I had the privilege of photographing the Reed family this summer. Mama, Lindsay, took our newborn photos after Carson, our covid baby, was born. (You can view that session here!)
Fascinated by all of the marvelous things around us, Lindsay’s little girls explored everything from the ducks in the pond to the tiniest of flowers. Dancing, twirling, and giggling their way straight into their mamas arms. Enjoy a snippet of this Murfreesboro Motherhood session on film!
Lindsay,
What a treasure of a woman you are! Thank you for your friendship and for allowing me to share in this season of motherhood with you. I adore your family and will always be grateful for the time we spend together!
